I am delighted to welcome you to the BOARD OF EMPIRICALLY SUPPORTED TRANSITION PRACTICES, Inc., family, which we affectionately call B.E.S.T. Practices. We are one of the strongest multidisciplinary teams ever assembled to keep men, women, and children from going back to prison.
Today B.E.S.T. Practices is providing a scientific voice to the critical need for quality reentry services. We are transforming the way many people think and work with people returning back to society following incarceration by cooperating, educating, advocating, and most importantly, evaluating reentry program models. In order to accomplish this task we have assembled a truly talented group of individuals whose work stands to impact the way reentry services are delivered across the country.
Maybe you have visited us because you hate injustice. Perhaps you need to access reentry public policy, news, political updates, or reentry research. Maybe you need advice or have a question about how best to serve people in reentry or how to evaluate your reentry program's success. Whatever drew you to us it is our pleasure to have you here. This site has been designed as a place for reentry thinkers, researchers, and providers to gather and share ideas, victories, and struggles in our pursuit to ensure the success of people in reentry.
